It is packed by hand at our bench in Geelong and travels up through the middle of the state as a tracked Australia Post parcel, one state, one network, no border crossings. That does not tempt us into promising delivery dates, because transit belongs to the postal network and honesty costs nothing: what you get from us is a tracking number on every parcel and one firm commitment at the start. Order before 12pm on a weekday and your hamper is dispatched the same day. Order after midday and it goes the next business day. Weekends queue for Monday.

Hand-packed and worth opening

Our team builds each box themselves, ties the gold ribbon, and slips a free personalised gift card underneath with your message before the lid goes on. Most hampers travel in an insulated shipper. The contents are the reason people reorder: Chocolatier Belgian chocolate truffles, Kangaroo Island Produce Co honey popcorn, Valley Produce Company mini artisan crackers and Kangaroo Island olives across most of the range, with Scottie Dog shortbread fingers, VPC roasted peanuts, Buttermilk caramel sea salt fudge and Hunter's Gourmet black truffle potato chips making appearances box by box.

Three ways to answer the drinks question

• Champagne: hampers carrying G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge, Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut or Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
• Wine: boxes with Château Tanunda Grand Barossa Shiraz or Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc.
• Neither: alcohol-free hampers with the same food and no bottle, suited to workplaces, hospitals and new-baby households.

Shipping, and where else the parcels go

The rule is per hamper: over $100 ships free to Bendigo, under $100 carries a shipping charge, and boxes do not pool toward the threshold because each is packed and posted as its own parcel.
