The Ottolenghi Ingredients Range
Ottolenghi is the range customers ask for by product name rather than by brand, which is unusual. They want the miso pesto, or the green harissa, or the pilpelchuma, and they want to know it is in stock. This page carries the range as it lands in Australia: pastes, pestos and harissas, sauces and marinades, dressings, preserves, spice blends and snacking nuts, alongside the SIMPLE, FLAVOUR, COMFORT and Test Kitchen cookbooks, FEAST tableware, tea towels and tote bags.
It also carries the two things a jar on its own cannot do: the Ottolenghi gift sets, and the Ottolenghi Deluxe and Selection Hampers.

The pastes and pestos, and what each is actually for
Miso Pesto is the one to buy first. It is savoury rather than herbal, heavy on umami, and it does far more stirred through hot pasta or spooned over roast pumpkin than a basil pesto ever will. Green Harissa is the fresh, herb-forward end of the harissa family, grassy and bright, and it belongs with fish, eggs and yoghurt. The Rose, Pomegranate and Preserved Lemon Harissa runs the other way, floral and sweet against the heat, while Sticky Orange Harissa behaves more like a glaze. Pilpelchuma and Green Chilli Shatta are for people who want the chilli undisguised. The Calabrian Chilli and Tomato Pesto and a straight Chilli Sauce sit alongside them.
Sauces, marinades and dressings
This is the weeknight end of the range. Roasted Aubergine and Tomato Sauce and Kalamata Olive and Harissa Sauce become complete dinners the moment pasta is involved. The marinades do the thinking: Preserved Lemon, Shawarma, Smokey Honey, Yuzu Ginger and Miso, and Black Garlic and Scotch Bonnet, plus a Marmalade Roasting Glaze and a Sticky Date and Tamarind sauce. Honey Mustard and Orange Marmalade dressings finish a salad with no further effort. On the sweeter shelf, the Apricot and Passionfruit and Raspberry and Pomegranate preserves.
Spices, nuts and the Christmas range
The small tins, Aleppo & Other Chillies, Citrus & Spice, Sweet & Smokey and the Sweet Spice Blend, are the cheapest way into the range. The snacking nuts are Caramelised Sesame Cashews, Rosemary Spiced Nuts and Sweet & Smokey Marcona Almonds. Late in the year the Ottolenghi Classic Panettone lands in 500g and 1000g, with cherry and cream and chocolate-filled versions, plus a Madagascan chocolate and candied clementine Christmas pudding.
Gift sets and Ottolenghi hampers
Six gift sets, split two ways. The Spoon & Pantry and Grater & Pantry sets pair pantry jars with a serving tool, which suits someone who already owns the books. The four book sets add either the COMFORT or the SIMPLE cookbook to that same pairing, and those are the ones to send when the recipient likes the idea of cooking this way but has not started.
Above them are the Ottolenghi Deluxe Hamper and the Ottolenghi Selection Hamper. Both bring the pantry range together in a premium hamper box with a gold ribbon, hand-packed with care, with a free personalised gift card carrying your message slipped under the bow. Full contents are listed on each hamper's own page. For a wider mix rather than a single brand, the broader gift hamper range is the place to look.
Beyond the pantry
The FEAST tableware, the striped plates and bowls, the serving platters and the Sicily vases, is the range at its most decorative, and it is what people buy for weddings and housewarmings. Tea towels and tote bags in the classic, pomegranate, chilli pepper and fish prints are the small, easy version of the same gift. For what to cook with the jars, our recipes and blog both lean heavily on this range.
What is the difference between miso pesto and green harissa?
Miso pesto is savoury and deep, with the salt and umami weight that makes plain vegetables taste finished. Green harissa is a chilli paste first, fresh and herbal, there to add heat and lift rather than body. Buy the pesto for pasta and roast vegetables, the harissa for grilled fish, eggs and anything served with yoghurt.
Which Ottolenghi gift set should I choose?
If they already cook from the books, take a Spoon & Pantry or Grater & Pantry set. If they do not own a copy, take one of the COMFORT or SIMPLE book sets, since the recipes point straight back at the jars in the box.
What goes into the Ottolenghi hampers?
Both the Deluxe and the Selection are built around the pantry range and packed into a premium hamper box with a gold ribbon. Each hamper's product page lists exactly what is inside. If a component runs out, we substitute an item of equal or higher value, keeping to the same category.
Do you ship Ottolenghi orders across Australia?
Yes, tracked Australia-wide with Australia Post. Order before 12pm on a weekday and it is dispatched that day. Gourmet food orders over $100 ship free, and a hamper over $100 ships free in its own right. See the wider gourmet food range for the brands stocked alongside it.
