What we can tell you, and what we cannot

How to check before you order

We cannot certify any hamper as gluten free and we will not guess on your behalf. Building the gift from single products instead

For a strict requirement, the more controllable route is to choose individual items where you can see one producer and one pack per product. Ordering for a group with mixed requirements

Why we will not label a hamper gluten free

That is a packing bench, not a certified allergen-free facility. For someone with a preference we can point you in a sensible direction. For someone with coeliac disease, only the producer's own labelling should decide it.

A better approach than filtering a category

Rather than hunting for a gluten free hamper, most people get a better result building the gift from individual products they have checked themselves. Our gluten free range is the place to start, and the wider food range lists every item on its own product page with the producer named, so you can read before you buy. Confectionery, nuts, olives and preserves are usually the easiest categories to work within; anything built on a biscuit or cracker base is where you have to look hardest.

If you are buying for someone else's household

Two practical things. First, ask rather than assume how strict the requirement is, because coeliac disease and a gluten preference call for completely different levels of care. Second, if you cannot ask without spoiling the surprise, a hamper is the wrong gift. Something from the chocolate range or a single item they can check themselves puts the decision back with the person who needs to make it.
